The Maruti Suzuki e VITARA is the brand's first-ever electric SUV, sold exclusively through the Nexa premium retail channel. Launched in early 2026, it is built on a dedicated EV platform co-developed with Suzuki and Toyota, and carries a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. The introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) price starts at ₹10.99 Lakh (excluding battery cost), while the outright ownership price ranges from approximately ₹15.99 to ₹20.01 Lakh (ex-showroom, indicative).

The e VITARA is offered with a 61 kWh lithium-ion battery pack comprising 120 cells, engineered to operate across a wide temperature range of −30 °C to 60 °C. ARAI-certified range is claimed at up to 543 km on a single charge, with DC fast charging support of up to 150 kW enabling faster top-ups. The SUV measures 4,275 mm in length with a 2,700 mm wheelbase, giving it a spacious footprint in the mid-size segment.

Inside, the e VITARA features a modern cabin with an Infinity sound system, 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats for flexible luggage management, and a 310-litre boot. It competes directly with established rivals such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6e, and MG Windsor, leveraging Maruti's vast service network and the Nexa ownership experience to differentiate itself in a rapidly growing segment.
